The Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and self-driven Sales Representative to join our Automotive Battery Sales Team. This position may be based in either our Braeside Head Office or Warragul Branch, depending on the successful candidate's location, experience, suitability, and business operational requirements. This role is responsible for direct product sales and developing new business opportunities.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
* Develop and service auto battery business in the assigned area, proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
* Drive a company vehicle to sell and deliver company products directly to customers.
* Hold a minimum valid Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence to operate company vehicles for sales and delivery purposes
* Use a device to process the invoices including the cash and cheque handling
* Build and maintain client relationships.
* Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
* Possess good knowledge of product offering and value proposition
* Foster positive working relationships with internal departments
* Manage the stock in your vehicle effectively
* Be physically fit and healthy as heavy battery lifting will be involved
To Succeed in this role you need:
* Prefer to have proven and demonstrable sales experience within a similar field. However, it is not essential. Training will be provided.
* Truck license is highly advantageous.
* Sound knowledge of the automotive battery market
