Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and hands‐on Maintenance Supervisor to join our Canning Vale facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will lead and coordinate maintenance activities across the site, including the MRF, FOGO processing operations, green waste areas and general site infrastructure. This is a key site leadership role focused on ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of plant and equipment, while driving preventative maintenance, team performance, contractor management and continuous improvement.
About the role
* Lead and supervise the site maintenance team, including fitters, electricians and support roles.
* Plan and coordinate daily, weekly and shutdown maintenance activities.
* Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies.
* Oversee maintenance across the MRF, FOGO processing operations, green waste areas and site infrastructure.
* Manage the site maintenance system, MEX including work orders, asset records and reporting.
* Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with WHS requirements.
* Manage contractors and suppliers, including safety compliance, supervision and quality of work.
* Support maintenance budgets, cost control, capital planning and asset lifecycle management.
* Identify and implement reliability, maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
* Experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role within an industrial, manufacturing, recycling, processing or heavy industry environment.
* Strong experience across mechanical, electrical and automated plant systems.
* Ability to lead teams and build a strong safety and performance culture.
* Solid understanding of maintenance planning, reliability and shutdown coordination.
* Experience using CMMS systems, ideally MEX or similar.
* Strong contractor management, problem‐solving and decision‐making skills.
* Experience with SCADA and industrial automation systems will be highly regarded.
* A practical, hands‐on and solutions‐focused approach.
