Our Opportunity
Location: Solomon - Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth
The successful applicant will be required to carry out the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repair to a range of large‐scale ancillary equipment supporting Fortescue's mining operations. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and inspections on a HME mining fleet with particular focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of large‐scale mining equipment (ancillary machinery)
* Diagnostics & fault finding
* Workshop and field duties
* Work collaboratively with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance
* Ensure Fortescue and site operations procedures and policies are followed
Qualifications and Experience
* Australian recognised trade certificate
* Previous experience working in the mining or heavy industry
* Mobile plant experience essential, specifically experience working on Caterpillar D10T/D11T dozers; 16, 18 & 24M graders, 994H and 994K loaders & Komatsu WA1200 loaders
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
