Responsibilities
- Liaise with shippers and carriers
- Coordinate sea export shipments
- Make export bookings
- Register shipments in CW1
- Arrange cartage
- Update all parties of any changes to export shipments
- Complete hazardous lodgements
- Send PRA via EDI/1-stop
- Monitor vessel ATD
- Dispatch documents to shippers and overseas offices/agents
- Invoicing
- Filing / scanning
- Attend to daily queries, monitor emails, and complete tasks set from the Export Manager when required
Qualifications
- Diploma/ tertiary qualifications in supply chain or logistics
- At least 2 to 4 years of ocean freight forwarding experience, preferably with focus on LCL pricing procurement
- Team player who is self-motivated with positive interpersonal skills
- Confident with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Persistent with good negotiation skills
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
