About the role
We are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our corporate HR team. In this role, you will act as a trusted HR generalist across the entire employee lifecycle. You can work remotely or from our Mildura headquarters if relocating. This position offers the opportunity to influence talent acquisition, drive operational excellence, and contribute to a high-performing, people-first culture in a purpose-driven organisation.
* Partner with leaders on various people matters, providing professional HR advice and support.
* Contribute to and deliver end-to-end recruitment, ensuring alignment with MADEC values and business needs.
* Advise and support leaders on HR practices, including performance management and development.
* Manage and resolve employment relations issues under the guidance of the HR Manager.
* Participate in HR projects aimed at enhancing organisational culture, employee engagement, and team environment.
About you
You are an experienced HR professional passionate about people, culture, and workplace performance. To be considered, you must have:
* An Australian degree in Human Resources or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in a HR Advisor, HR Consultant, or HR Business Partner role.
* Demonstrated experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
* Knowledge of Fair Work legislation related to performance and disciplinary matters.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Influencing and coaching skills.
* Experience in change management and process improvement.
* Intermediate MS Office skills and previous HRIS system experience.
The role requires agility, the ability to multitask, and a solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment. A National Police Check and full Australian working rights are mandatory.
