We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative assistant to support the daily operational needs of a large furniture manufacturing and distribution business.
Primary Roles and Responsibility
Provide a superior customer service experience with a positive attitude
High level administrative skills
Respond to customer enquiries and action accordingly
Ensure that requests for assistance are directed to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner
Perform general typing and administrative assignments including scanning filling, and data entry as and when required
Maintain a good working relationship with the management and staff
Handle initial customer inquiries and complaints before passing on further
Communicate effectively and courteously with all employees and external customers
Provide clerical support to accounts department and management
Assist with the ordering of stationery and office items as and when required
Any other duty as reasonably directed
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
High level Customer service skills
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of data and administrative practices and procedures
Strong knowledge of MS Office programs
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
Be a proactive team member with a energetic and committed work ethic
