Full time, Continuing opportunity Lead the future of health education by shaping innovative, hands on clinical skills and simulation training that prepares the next generation of healthcare professionals based at Camperdown Campus, travel across sites required Base Salary $126,065 - $142,171 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Medicine and Health have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Clinical Skills & Simulation Education to lead the operational delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based education across the Faculty. The role is responsible for overseeing simulation facilities, specialised equipment and professional staff to ensure high-quality teaching environments that support practical, hands-on training for health students. Working closely with academic leaders, professional staff and healthcare partners, the position supports the coordination and delivery of simulation activities across multiple sites (Concord, Westmead, Nepean & Northern) The role also plays a key part in ensuring teaching environments remain aligned with evolving health education practices and industry standards. In collaboration with Local Health Districts and other external partners, the Manager strengthens partnerships that support innovative and practice-focused clinical education, helping prepare students for real world healthcare settings. Your key responsibilities will be to: leading a professional team responsible for clinical skills and simulation education managing the day-to-day running of simulation facilities, equipment and teaching spaces partnering with academics to support the delivery of practical teaching and simulation-based learning & assessment coordinating staffing, scheduling and operational planning for clinical skills education building strong relationships with health services, industry partners and faculty stakeholders supporting the implementation of new simulation technologies and teaching approaches monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to enhance learning environments and services ensuring safe, compliant and well-managed clinical training environments About you You are an experienced manager who enjoys working at the intersection of education, healthcare and technology. You understand the operational demands of simulation environments and are comfortable leading teams in dynamic teaching settings. You bring: experience managing teams, facilities or services within health or higher education an understanding of clinical skills training or simulation-based learning strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with academic or healthcare partners excellent organisational and operational leadership abilities with strong people management skills confidence managing complex environments, competing priorities and specialised facilities a commitment to supporting high-quality learning experiences for students willingness to travel to multiple locations A health-related qualification and experience working in clinical education, simulation or training environments will be highly regarded.
