About the Role
As the Clinical Care Manager at our Fred Ward Gardens Residential Care home in Curtin, you will assume clinical leadership responsibility for the delivery of high-quality care and care planning for our 115 residents.
You will be accountable for the supervision of nursing and care teams, management of the clinical governance framework and play a key role in the quality improvement cycle for our facility.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to:
Deliver exceptional clinical care – medical/rehabilitative, dementia and restorative
Elevate lifestyle, wellbeing, social connection, and care for our residents
Demonstrate leadership in embedding quality and safety as a key focus
Establish operating rhythms with team members to create an open and inclusive culture
Support and enable the development of Clinical and Care teams by
providing hands-on education and training and identify opportunities for growth
Promote the profile of RSL LifeCare in the local area by building relationships with health and community groups
Support the Facility Manager to ensure Clinical and Care labour cost-management initiatives are fully adopted
About You
A current AHPRA registration
A minimum 5 years' postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, or another relevant environment
Experience managing compliance with regulatory standards
Sound understanding of person-centred approaches to clinical care and support
Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and ability to build meaningful relationships
Demonstrated ability to make good decisions which balance commercial outcomes with customer experience
Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound financial acumen as evidenced by prior budget management experience
