Contract Administrator/Project Manager – Design Build
Design & Build are seeking a Contract Administrator/Project Manager to join our client, a well‑established residential builder known for delivering high‑quality, architecturally designed homes across Melbourne. With a strong pipeline of projects and a collaborative, down‑to‑earth team, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to take ownership of a diverse range of residential projects valued up to $3.5 m.
You'll work alongside the project team to manage procurement, contracts, budgets, and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard, while joining a business that values its people, offering long‑term opportunities and a close‑knit team culture with consistently low staff turnover.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate and coordinate with architects, councils, trades, and service providers to achieve key project milestones
* Prepare, assess, and finalise subcontractor packages in accordance with project budgets and head contract requirements
* Maintain oversight of project documentation, financial accounts, and progress reporting
* Assist in implementing company policies and ensuring ongoing site compliance
* Monitor and manage construction schedules, forecasting upcoming trade and material needs
About You
* Minimum 4 years' experience in residential construction – ideally across high‑end or custom projects
* Strong technical and commercial knowledge
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with a close‑knit team
* Experience with Procore is preferred
