 
        
        Our client based in Thomastown, specialising in the Manufacturing of Smallgoods products such as pork, ham and salami, are currently looking for a highly driven Logistics Officer to join the fast-paced, growing team.
Start and finish time is flexible with Full Time hours available, working in a fast-paced environment will mean you are never bored
Your primary responsibilities will be:
 * Data entry and validation of daily stock transfer (in house systems).
 * General phone and administration duties.
 * Assist with order picking as required and dispatching them using a mix of paper and scanning.
 * Collect and recording of data according to procedures.
 * Ensure stock levels by ordering materials, maintaining purchasing records in line with procedures.
 * Investigate all complaints or reported quality issues.
Essential Required Skills/ Experience:
 * Previous experience in a similar role.
 * The ability to show initiative.
 * The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 * Audit experience is highly desirable.
 * Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and other MS applications.
 * Must have clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
 * Experience in the food or smallgoods industry an advantage.
 * Full-working rights.
