TCM Civil Pty Ltd is a long established and respected Civil Contractor based in the Lower Hunter area of NSW. Our core business is the Construction of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure. Our area of operations are the Hunter Region, Central Coast, East Coast of NSW and Regional NSW.
TCM is looking to employ additional personnel to meet our continuing growth. We are seeking an experienced Civil Pipelayer to join the dynamic team at TCM Civil Pty Ltd in Newcastle, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and in line with all relevant safety and quality requirements.
TCM Civil offer above award conditions with on-the-job training when required plus numerous opportunities for further training through Tertiary or Competency-Based training including Confined Space, Working at Heights, Heavy Vehicle, Traffic Control. TCM are also looking for young enthusiastic people for traineeships.
TCM currently have options for both hunter based works and working state-wide.
What we're looking for
* Significant experience (5+ years) as a Civil Pipelayer or similar role in the construction industry including installation of Water, Sewer and Stormwater infrastructure
* Thorough understanding of civil pipeline construction Drawings, methods, standards and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Able to assist crews with physical activities involving pipeline installation and other civil tasks.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and project specifications
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
