About the Role
Teaching Assistants at Trinity Christian School provide a key service to students requiring extra assistance in their learning journeys. Teaching Assistants support teaching staff deliver specific education to students, in a manner that is God honouring and consistent with the school’s vision to provide a Christ-centred education in a learning community of Love, Nurture and Service. Teaching Assistants work as part of a team under the direction and supervision of the Head of School and Learning Support Teachers.
This is a part-time position.
Essential Criteria
* Ability to show interest in the wellbeing of students as well as their social, spiritual and academic development.
* Ability to support the learning of students as directed by the teaching staff.
* Experience in working with students who require additional educational support.
* Ability to work in a collaborative manner. > Well-developed organisational skills.
* Sufficient skill in computer literacy to assist student learning.
* First Aid Certificate is desirable.
* Working With Vulnerable People card is essential.
* A Certificate IV in Education Support or similar is preferred.
