We're in search of a caring individual to join us as a Care Support Worker at the Hamilton Hill Facility on a casual basis. Our facility provides housing for up to 11 residents with various neurological conditions, offering a tailored alternative for younger individuals at risk of entering aged-care facilities due to their high care needs.
We prioritise residents' privacy while promoting social interaction in communal areas, creating a welcoming and homely environment integrated with the local community.
As a Care Support Worker, your core activities will include:
* Providing essential personal care such as bathing and dressing to promote residents' health and well-being.
* Assisting with medication administration to ensure residents' medical requirements are met effectively.
* Undertaking household chores such as meal service and cleaning, contributing to residents' comfort and environment.
* Organising and facilitating social activities and outings to encourage community engagement and interaction among residents.
* Following individualised care plans to address the specific needs and goals of each resident.

Requirements:
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Availability for morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
* Current Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence without restrictions
* First Aid certificate issued within the last 12 months (assistance provided if needed)
* Previous experience in a care support role
* Positive attitude
* Certificate III in a relevant discipline
