Operations Field Support Role
We are seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals for the role of Operations Field Support. This position is based at our client's mine site and involves direct customer service and Rock tools (ROTO) support.
This opportunity allows you to learn and apply Sandvik-specific knowledge and services in support of mining customers. It also presents potential career advancement opportunities, including promotion to higher operations levels or roles such as sales, service, supervision, or management positions.
* Manage drilling consumables inventories at drill sites
* Perform daily deliveries and stock replenishment at underground and surface sites
* Analyse and report on drilling consumable performance, condition, and failures
* Engage positively with our client's mining operators
* Administer product usage and contract requirements
* Ensure EHS compliance
* Repair and recondition hammers
* Maintain accurate data entry and record keeping
You will preferably have experience working underground around heavy equipment and hold current inductions. A strong safety commitment, excellent customer service, and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of on-site service contracts, underground mining, and familiarity with Sandvik drilling products would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for learning, be receptive to training and guidance, demonstrate safety behaviours, and possess effective communication and collaboration skills. Physical fitness is required, as this role involves safely lifting a minimum of 40kgs.
