-----------------------------------------------------------------------A GATEWAY TO TRAVELIf you have always dreamed of a career that shows you the world, this is your boarding call, starting at Wagga Wagga Airport.A casual position available, with availability to move to part time for the right applicant.ResponsibilitiesMarshal aircraft during arrival and departure.Conduct safety checks on equipment and work areas.Maintain compliance with security and safety procedures.Handle aircraft servicing tasks (e.g., lavatory and water services).
Communicate with flight crews and ground control for safe operations.Safely load and unload passenger baggage from aircraft.Ensure correct baggage loading according to flight destinations.Handle oversized or special baggage items.Assist with lost or damaged baggage reporting when required.Qualifications and SkillsEmbrace a safe working environment and contribute to safety outcomes.Ability to operate powered and non-powered equipment (state driving license essential).
Communicate with and support team members.Well presented and able to adhere to airline grooming standards.High proficiency in spoken and written English.Pass Drug, Alcohol and Audio tests.Able to obtain an ASIC (requires a federal police background check).
Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas.Ability to work any shift from 05:00am to 11:00pm.Commit to shift lengths of minimum 4 hours per day.Available for 2 weeks' paid full-time training.Reliable transport to and from Wagga Wagga Airport.Punctual, reliable and with excellent time management.Previous experience in aviation or airport operations will be highly regarded.Application ProcessYour application will include the following questions:How would you rate your English language skills?
