About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening Waterco's presence across Queensland by working closely with:
* Wholesalers & distributors
* Pool builders
* Service technicians
* Retail shops
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Drive Sales Growth:
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within your territory.
* Build Strong Relationships:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers by delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.
* Market & Product Expertise:
Use your knowledge of the pool and spa industry to effectively promote Waterco's extensive product range.
* Strategic Sales Planning:
Execute effective sales strategies, including call planning and account management.
* Data-Driven Selling:
Leverage CRM systems such as
Zendesk
and
Phocas
to plan customer visits, analyse data, identify trends, and optimise sales performance.
* Exhibitions & Trade Shows:
Represent Waterco at exhibitions and annual trade shows, confidently demonstrating product knowledge and answering customer enquiries.
About You
You're a motivated self-starter who enjoys being on the road and engaging directly with customers. You will also bring:
* A proven track record in sales, ideally within the
building, hardware, pool & spa, or related industries
* A
trade background
(plumber, pool service technician, mechanic, etc.) — highly regarded and encouraged to apply
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
* A strong customer service mindset with a focus on building rapport and exceeding expectations
* High levels of organisation, accountability, and a results-driven approach
* A genuine interest in technical products and the ability to clearly explain their value proposition
* A love for working outdoors and visiting customers face-to-face
