Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technologist to support the optimisation of electrical systems, production equipment and automated technologies within our workshop. The role focuses on analysing and improving equipment performance, system integration and operational processes to enhance efficiency, reliability and overall production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyse and monitor the performance of workshop machinery, electrical systems and production equipment to improve efficiency, reliability and operational performance
· Evaluate and optimise electrical systems, control settings and machine parameters to enhance productivity, reduce energy consumption and minimise downtime
· Develop and implement practical solutions to improve the integration between machinery, electrical systems and production workflows
· Conduct testing, calibration and performance validation of equipment, sensors and control systems to ensure safe and consistent operations
· Investigate equipment faults and performance issues, applying structured problem-solving methods and implementing corrective actions
· Support the optimisation of CNC machines and automated equipment, including adjustment of control systems and operational parameters
· Collaborate with internal staff and external suppliers to support technical improvements and equipment-related projects
Requirements
· Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or a closely related field
· At least 3 years of relevant experience in engineering, equipment systems, electrical systems or production environments
· Demonstrated experience in analysing, testing and improving equipment performance, control systems or engineering processes
· Experience working with machinery, automated equipment, sensors or control systems will be highly regarded
· Experience in manufacturing, construction, joinery or related industries will be highly regarded
· Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin will be highly regarded
