About the Role
* Lead social media efforts: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our organisational goals.
* Campaign management: Drive organic and paid social media campaigns that target both members and consumers.
* Social media strategy development: Collaborate with the media and public relations manager to craft a robust social media strategy.
* Stay ahead of trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and implement new approaches.
* Tailored social media plans: Prepare and execute customised social media plans to support advocacy priorities and departmental objectives.
* Content design/creation: Work with stakeholders to develop and design content for corporate channels according to style guide.
* Event promotion: Plan and deliver social media content for conferences and other significant organisational events.
* Media engagement: Develop and distribute proactive and reactive pitches to journalists and media releases.
* Innovate and improve: Contribute to ongoing innovation and continuous improvement in our communication strategies.
* Supporting our Reconciliation Action Plan and diversity commitments: Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure the amplification of First Nations and LGBTQIA+ physiotherapists.
* Stakeholder relationships: Establish and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation.
* Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on social media activity.
About You
* Education: Tertiary qualification in graphic design, communications, journalism/public relations, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in social media management and optimisation.
* Proficiency: Proven expertise in designing content, managing social media platforms, and developing/executing social media plans.
* Exceptional writing skills and critical attention to detail.
* Sector experience: Experience in the not-for-profit sector is highly regarded.
