Company Description
StoriBot is a fast-growing technology startup focused on unlocking the power of
data storytelling
. We help teams
transform raw data into clear, compelling visual charts and narratives
in minutes — without the complexity of traditional BI tools or manual slide building.
Our mission is to
make insight communication effortless
, so good ideas aren't lost in spreadsheets. We work closely with early users, move quickly, and care deeply about building products people genuinely enjoy using.
This is an opportunity to join an early-stage company and contribute directly to how a product is positioned, launched, and understood in the market.
Role Description
We are seeking a
Marketing Intern with a strong interest in product, go-to-market strategy, and early-stage startups
. This role sits at the intersection of
marketing, product, and growth
— focused on how StoriBot is positioned, launched, and communicated, rather than purely social media execution.
You'll work closely with the founding team on real product and market decisions, using research, messaging, experimentation, and AI tools to help shape how the product grows. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, not a passive internship.
The role can be
part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
or
full-time
, based out of our
West Perth office
, with some flexibility once onboarded.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct market, user, and competitor research to inform positioning and messaging
* Help refine StoriBot's go-to-market strategy and value proposition
* Assist with product marketing activities such as feature launches, onboarding content, and user communication
* Create and refine written content (website copy, product messaging, blog posts, LinkedIn)
* Use
AI tools
to generate, test, and improve marketing content and workflows
* Work closely with product, design, and engineering to ensure features are clearly and effectively communicated
* Analyse early usage data, feedback, and experiments to surface actionable insights
* Test ideas, run small experiments, and help us learn quickly what works (and what doesn't)
What we're looking for
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A
"can-do / let's figure it out" mindset
— proactive, curious, and comfortable with ambiguity
* Interest in
product marketing, market research, or go-to-market strategy
* Demonstrated ability to use AI tools
to produce, refine, or experiment with content
* Interest in technology, startups, product design, or engineering (no coding required)
* Ability to analyse information and translate it into clear insights (valued but not essential)
* Familiarity with marketing or analytics tools is a bonus — but not required
* Currently studying or recently graduated in
Marketing, Business, Design, Communications, or a related field
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
Note:
this role is
not primarily focused on social media scheduling or content posting.
Applications should be excited about product positioning, research and go-to-market thinking.
What you will get
* Hands-on experience in a real startup with genuine ownership and impact
* Direct mentorship from the founding team across product, marketing, and strategy
* Practical experience you can clearly demonstrate on your CV and portfolio
* Exposure to modern, AI-driven marketing workflows
* A collaborative and supportive working environment
* Flexible working arrangements
* Potential pathway to a longer-term role as the company grows
