The Opportunity:
NEW ROLE - Tamworth or Sydney based
As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team and drive the next phase of financial and operational performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll lead our finance function while partnering closely with branch managers and senior stakeholders to drive profitability, pricing optimisation, and business transformation.
Key responsibilities:
Lead all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Drive pricing strategies for spare parts and service work to maximise margins.
Oversee P&L performance across branches and mentor managers in cost control and reporting.
Improve labour utilisation and operational efficiency across service operations.
Provide leadership and direction to the finance team to ensure high performance
Lead and provide strategic guidance with M&A activity, including financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems, and financial processes.
What you will bring:
Proven experience in capital equipment, construction machinery, automotive, or similar asset-heavy industries
Strong background in FP&A, pricing strategy, and operational finance
Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both executives and non-finance staff (e.g. mechanics, technicians)
Track record of improving margins and driving profitability through pricing, cost control, and strategic insight
Experience in leading teams through change, system improvement, and performance uplift
Previous involvement in M&A integration and business transformation initiatives
