Who we are The Enterprise Strategy and Governance Division works across the department to deliver services such as media and communications, engagement, governance, planning, reporting and risk management. The division provides direct support to the Minister's office via the Parliamentary and Ministerial Services Team and manages Parliamentary and Cabinet business for the department. It also advises the executive and business areas on portfolio strategy, including developing and embedding the department's strategic purpose, objectives, priorities, vision and values. We are leading an organisational capability uplift program and driving a more integrated approach to budget and financial planning and decision-making. The division is establishing a new Emergency Preparedness and Management Branch to create a hub for emergency management within the department and develop a whole-of-enterprise, all hazards emergency management model. The Communication and Media Branch delivers internal and corporate communication and strategic communication activities in support of the department and our ministers, for the benefit of the Australian community. This includes managing the department's social media strategy and social media presence, media support services across the department and for our ministers' offices, production services including graphic design and branding, Web publishing for external-facing departmental websites, and the development of campaign and non-campaign materials. The Web, Design and Editing Section is a multi-disciplinary team of creative thinkers, designers, writers, editors and digital specialists. We believe in the power of connecting user needs with departmental objectives through the delivery of clear, concise, audience and task-focused communication products. The key duties of the position include The Job The duties will include but not limited to the following: Under direction, develop and execute high-quality design products for print and digital media, including but not limited to, brochures, posters, social media graphics, and website elements. Understand and implement the Department's branding to create consistent and visually engaging products. Participate in meetings to understand project requirements and provide design input. Contribute to reporting on the design team's activity. Maintain and organise design files and assets following consistent team practices. Contribute to the further development of the department's brand standards. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work. Contribute to a positive team, section and branch culture.
