About The Opportunity
We have exciting opportunities for passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Educators to join our team at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. This role supports nursing and midwifery staff at the ward/unit level through the delivery of high-quality clinical education that promotes best practice, patient safety and positive patient outcomes.
1 x part time permanent position in the Cardiac Cath Lab, up to 14hrs per week
1 x full time temporary position in the Intensive Care Unit, up to 38 hours per week (job share considered)
1 x part time temporary position in the Emergency Department, up to 19 hours per week
As The Clinical Nurse Educator, You Will
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate ward/unit-based clinical education in line with MLHD, NSW Health and NMBA standards.
Support orientation, supervision and professional development of new, transitioning and early career nurses and midwives, including TPP participants.
Provide clinical coaching, mentoring and skills development to nursing staff within their scope of practice.
Contribute to quality improvement, clinical policy development and district-wide education initiatives.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
A commitment to patient-centred care, cultural safety, and continuous professional development.
