About the Business

For almost 30 years, Calpeda Pumps Australia has been delivering high-quality water pumping solutions to the Australian market. We are the Australian wholesaler for a multinational pump manufacturer headquartered in Italy, with our Australian head office located in Adelaide, South Australia.

We are currently seeking a proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented Accounts & Office Allrounder to join our Adelaide head office team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting both the finance and general administration functions of the business. Working closely with the team, you will manage day-to-day accounting tasks while also providing essential office support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing in SAP
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Assist the Operations Manager with daily invoicing
* Daily bank reconciliations
* Assist with month-end reporting and budgeting processes
* Monthly payroll processing using MYOB
* Payroll compliance, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) obligations
* BAS support and assistance with PAYG obligations
* Liaise with external tax accountants regarding BAS, PAYG, and annual reporting
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in SAP
* General office administration including administrative support to management

The successful applicant will have:

* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable or Office Allrounder role
* Strong, practical experience using MYOB for payroll only
* A solid understanding of AP, AR, and payroll processes and compliance
* Experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Confidence communicating with suppliers, customers, and external accountants
* The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
