Senior Project Engineer (Regional Civil Construction) Red Dust Holdings are preparing for a strong pipeline of upcoming civil works and are seeking skilled Senior Project Engineers to drive project delivery.
You will be involved in delivering a wide range of projects from intersection upgrades and acceleration lanes on major Pilbara highways to regional road improvements, mine site earthworks, complex landfill cells and flood damage repairs.

Our projects span from small civil construction to large projects in the civil and mining sector; such as detailed roadworks, earthworks, subdivisions, tailings dams, airport construction and major highway upgrades. RDH tenders projects in the range of $2m and $45m.
About the Role Reporting to the Projects Director, you will play a key role in driving project outcomes by ensuring works are executed efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate technical and quality documentation across multiple projects, developing ITPs based on build specifications and preparing, compiling and maintaining MDR’s.
Additionally, you will support effective project delivery through ongoing cost management, reporting and forecasting while providing project-specific engineering expertise.

Our projects span across Pilbara, Goldfields, Midwest, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate civil construction projects—bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage and other site development tasks
Facilitate internal and external project kick off meetings
Contribute to project planning, budgets, schedules and resource management
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and contractual standards
Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, subcontractors and clients
Support and mentor project teams, ensuring alignment with RDH’s values and goals
Assist the Project Manager in providing regular project updates to the Project Director and department leads
Assist with preparation of project reporting to client specifications and RDH contract requirements
About You
Relevant Civil Engineering qualification
5+ years demonstrated experience managing civil construction projects in regional WA
A deep understanding of construction materials, methodologies & technology, as well as engineering principles
Strong understanding of safety regulations, codes and best practices
Knowledge of Main Roads (MRWA) specifications & standards
Demonstrated understanding of specifications & ability to derive ITPs from spec
Ability to read and understand client and project documentation, contracts and specifications
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical approach to problem‑solving and proactive decision‑making
Ability to coordinate the project in its entirety and plan project deliverables
Proficiency in project specific software and tools (Microsoft Projects, Primavera etc)
Motivated and enthusiastic work ethic with a high degree of integrity
Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
White / Blue card (Construction Safety Induction)
Satisfactory National Police Clearance
Ability to complete full pre‑employment medical and Drug & alcohol screening
