Outdoor World specialise in the custom design, manufacture and installation of outdoor additions and home improvements. Proudly WA owned and operated, we've been designing and installing quality outdoor structures in Perth and around WA for over 30 years.
We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working, proactive and highly organised Workshop Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for efficient organisation and maintenance of the stores, workshop and yard, and assisting the workshop manager, installers and contractors as required.
About the role
* Taking direction from Workshop Manager for tasks.
* Assisting contractors with loading and directing to jobs.
* Complete with deliveries and pick-ups.
* Providing support to installers on site.
* Receiving, labelling, and recording orders delivered.
* Maintaining and accurately recording stock levels.
* Ordering stock to ensure suitable levels are maintained.
* Consolidating and loading jobs for maximum efficiency.
* Regularly reviewing and updating material list.
* Keeping workshop and yard clean and organised.
* May be required to assist with powder coating.
* General cleaning and organising as required.
About you
* Previous experience in workshop environment.
* Forklift Licence
* Current White Card
* Current C Class WA Drivers Licence
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Well-developed organisation skills and time management.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to priorities and manage workload to meet deadlines.
