We currently provide intranasal esketamine (Spravato) treatment programs for people living with treatment-resistant depression. We have clinic sites across Australia and see people of all ages and backgrounds to help them find a way to manage their mental health.
The Role
We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist to join our telehealth team. You will play a central role in assessing and managing patients remotely, prescribing esketamine where clinically appropriate, and guiding patients through their treatment journey.
This role suits a psychiatrist who is excited by emerging therapies, enjoys working flexibly via telehealth, and is committed to safe, structured, patient-centred care.
Responsibilities
* Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning via telehealth
* Prescribe intranasal esketamine (Spravato) in line with TGA and PBS guidelines for eligible patients seeking treatment
* Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up, monitoring treatment response and safety
* Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team (nurses, psychologists, care coordinators) to deliver integrated care
* Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
* Contribute to continuous improvement of our treatment protocols and patient experience
About You
* Specialist registration with AHPRA as a Psychiatrist
* Current authority to prescribe Schedule 8 medications (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience managing treatment-resistant depression and related conditions
* Strong commitment to patient safety, evidence-based care, and ethical prescribing
* Comfortable working via telehealth and using digital health tools
* Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach
