The Opportunity
We are looking for a Parts Interpreter for our Hobart Branch.
To be successful, you will be a confident self-starter with a passion for agricultural and small construction machinery, an open mind for the rural lifestyle, and demonstrate the following attributes:
Providing sales and service of parts to customers
Ordering stock
Receiving stock
Picking and packing freight
Assisting workshop staff with parts purchase for machinery
Maintaining stock levels in the showroom
Stocktaking, inventory, and warehouse maintenance
Updating the system accurately and promptly
Assisting customers with sales queries
Making sales to lifestyle customers
Passing on sales leads to the appropriate Sales Representative
Performing other duties as required by management
Person Specification
As a successful Parts Interpreter, you will have:
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze data and think clearly
Problem-solving skills
Effective workload management skills to achieve outcomes
Mechanical aptitude and experience
Time management and prioritization skills
Computer software proficiency
Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and limited supervision
A team-oriented approach with initiative, commitment, and a positive attitude
Adaptability to changing work environments
Valid driver’s license
Forklift license preferred but not essential
