This is a hands-on role where you will undertake a range of labouring and maintenance duties at the Council's waste facilities.
Although these roles are based from Emerald there may be times you are required to travel between various sites across the region.
There is opportunity to work a rotating roster which allows for fantastic work life balance.
ResponsibilitiesProviding excellent customer service to the publicUndertaking physical tasks for the operation and maintenance of the waste transfer facilitiesOperating mobile plant equipment
QualificationsMinimum Queensland HR (HR) class driver's licenceGeneral Construction Induction CardStatement of attainment or ticket for Integrated Tool Carrier (IT Loader) or ability to obtain within 3 months of commencementAgricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC) statement of attainment and Commercial Operators Licence (or ability to obtain)Ability to operate waste management plant and equipment on a daily basis
