Scotch & Fillet Butchers is seeking enthusiastic Apprentice Butchers to join our dynamic team across our five locations in Melbourne.
About Us:
At Scotch & Fillet, we pride ourselves on traditional butchery practices. Our skilled team is dedicated to teaching you the art of butchery, ensuring you receive comprehensive training aligned with TAFE.
What You'll Learn:
* Full carcass butchery techniques
* Traditional methods—not just slicing box meat
* Sausage and smallgoods production
* Fish filleting and preparation
Requirements:
* No prior work experience needed
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Must be a permanent resident of Australia
* Minimum age of 16 years required
* Year 10 or equivalent education level required
By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll be equipped with a diverse skill set, ready to manage your own shop.
