The Manager, Global Technology, ANZ works together with GT teammates to ensure stable operations and to align technology solutions with business goals.
What you'll do:
Technology Operations & Infrastructure:
* Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of technology systems and infrastructure.
* Backup network administrator to provide end users support on Windows and Macintosh workstations as well as application enquiries.
* Ensure robust system architecture, network administration, and disaster recovery planning following Global GT standards and guidelines.
* Monitor network and system installation, setup, backup and administration.
* Backup network administrator to remediate IT Vulnerabilities on specified systems in timely manner.
* Be proactive in investigating any IT issues / error, proposing solutions and carrying out actions.
* Implement corporate IT security standards and policies.
* Monitor and manage daily backups.
* Manage enterprise software platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) and ensure seamless integration with Global Apps.
* AV management.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
* Follow and Implement cybersecurity policies and practices from Global guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards published by our Global team.
Team Mentoring & Development:
* Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
* Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Project & Vendor Management:
* Deliver technology projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals.
* Co-ordinate with regional and corporate teammates for Global IT project implementation.
* Meet the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
* Negotiate with outsourcers, vendors and contractors for IT product and services purchases.
* Implement ITIL or Agile best practices for service delivery and project execution.
Innovation & Emerging Technologies:
* In collaboration with the technology team and key stakeholders identify technology opportunities that support business growth and efficiency.
* Deliver digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, automation, and data analytics.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for deliver innovation.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Act as a liaison between IT and business units to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
* Ensure high levels of user satisfaction through responsive support and continuous improvement.
Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field.
• Ideally has one to three years' experience in an enterprise IT setting.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Active Directory, Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Oracle databases, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in teams or work independently.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to details.
• Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to user support.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and performing under pressure.
• Skilled in preparing clear and accurate technical documentation.
• Committed to enhancing IT service quality and user experience.
• Maintains current knowledge of emerging IT technologies and trends.
