As in your role you will help more people live well and enjoy confident lives.A great opportunity exists to join Zurich’s Finance team as a Senior Reinsurance Claims Recoveries Analyst.This is a role where you will drive process improvement, innovation, and support the Team Leader while mentoring others.You will be part of a team analyzing and performing intermediate to complex reinsurance transactions and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with reinsurance agreements and department standards.Your main responsibilities will include:Reporting and settling reinsurance claims and reconciling complex reinsurance activity.Preparing and analyzing internal and external reports.Providing training and oversight for account and processing responsibilities.Following up on open recoverables in a timely and professional manner.Managing relationships and communication with internal Zurich partners and reinsurers.Providing workflow status updates, risk assessments, and issue insights to management and stakeholders.Important to your success - Unlock your potentialUnderstanding of the life insurance market and reinsurance processes, including interdepartmental dependencies.Knowledge in using insurance claims administration systems.Proficiency with tools and techniques for reinsurance administration activities.A solution-focused mindset and strong initiative.Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on risk and controls.Programming experience with SQL, R, or Python is preferred.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for stakeholders.Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial or Finance-related fields.Belong.
