DMK Engineering is a leading engineering company with facilities in Gillman and Mount Gambier, South Australia. We specialise in pipework, structural, shutdowns and food grade engineering solutions for a wide range of clients. This position is based at our Gillman facility.
The Role
As a Project Manager at DMK Engineering, you will take a hands-on approach to project delivery, applying your skills across the end-to-end execution of a range of projects. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment and has a proven track record in project management.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and manage the end-to-end delivery of structural steel, pipework, shutdown and food grade engineering projects.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
* Monitor project performance, report on progress and implement improvements where necessary.
* Manage procurement of materials for projects, ensuring timely delivery from suppliers to meet schedules and budget requirements.
* Identify and mitigate projects risks, providing solutions to improve project outcomes.
* Collaborate directly with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
* Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental and quality standards.
About You
* Proven experience managing engineering projects.
* Background in structural steel and / or pipe installation.
* Excellent technical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, budgets and competing priorities.
