Maxwell Recruitment is currently building a roster of Confined Space Labourers / Vac Truck Offsiders to assist Veolia during shutdown work at the BlueScope Steel site in Wollongong.
This role will suit reliable and safety-focused workers looking to pick up shutdown shifts every few weeks, typically 1–2 day shutdowns, supporting industrial cleaning and vacuum truck operations.
Working on the BlueScope site means strict safety standards, so we are looking for workers who take safety seriously and can follow site procedures.
Key Duties
* Assisting vac truck operators during shutdown works
* Confined space entry support and spotter duties
* Industrial cleaning and labouring tasks
* Setting up hoses and equipment for vacuum operations
* Following strict BlueScope safety and permit procedures
Required Tickets
* Confined Space
* Working at Heights
* White Card
* Driver's Licence (preferred)
About You
* Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
* Physically fit and comfortable working in industrial environments
* Reliable and available for shutdown call-ups
* Previous experience with vac trucks, industrial services or shutdowns highly regarded
