Job Description
The role of a Finance Officer involves providing financial assistance to the organization. This includes tasks such as budget preparation, expenditure analysis, and payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with annual budget preparation and submission.
* Analyze and report on expenditure and revenue budget variations.
* Process termination and redundancy payments.
* Prepare and verify monthly accruals for salaries and benefits.
* Handle payroll queries via phone and email.
* Generate payment summaries at the end of the financial year.
* Perform financial duties such as accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, journals, BAS, and end-of-month reports.
* Undertake financial processing and data entry tasks such as corporate credit card management.
Requirements
* Experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work efficiently and independently with strong organizational skills.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
