Job Description:
At our organisation, we're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Governance Specialist to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in strengthening data governance across business units.
* Develop and implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
* Maintain and validate master data for new product introductions and ongoing updates.
* Oversee data integration and migration between systems.
* Conduct regular data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies.
* Collaborate with IT, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless data flow.
* Identify and implement opportunities to streamline master data processes.
* Provide training and guidance to teams on data quality and governance standards.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Master Data Management with a focus on governance.
* Proven experience working with ERP systems.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* Experience in a global or multi-country organisation, ideally in retail or manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of data integration, ETL tools, and data quality management.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
