About the Position
Are you ready to take the next step in your retail leadership journey? We're looking for a confident, driven Assistant Retail Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences to join our team!
As Assistant Retail Manager, you'll be the right-hand support to the Retail Manager, helping drive store performance while leading from the front. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining outstanding store standards, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service.
You will be responsible for:
* Leading by example to create a warm, engaging customer experience
* Using your expertise for visual merchandising to create appealing displays, execute marketing campaigns to maximise sales.
* Support the Retail Manager in supervising a team of Pharmacy assistants and complete opening and/or closing procedures.
* Assisting with stock management, banking reconciliation, and administrative reporting
* Ensuring company policies and procedures are valued.
About You
You're a natural leader who enjoys motivating others and delivering results. You bring energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for retail pharmacy.
Ideally, you'll have the following:
* Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment (highly regarded)
* Outstanding customer service and communication skills
* Experience working towards budgets and KPIs (preferred)
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confidence operating POS systems and general computer literacy
* A genuine passion for community pharmacy
* Previous pharmacy or retail experience
* Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy (highly regarded)
