The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services essential to our operations, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring best value for the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Administration of the Purchasing department
* Raise purchase orders and manage the procurement of goods, materials, and services in line with company policies.
* Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
* Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate purchasing records and manage inventory levels.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast and plan purchasing requirements.
* Process owner of the SAP purchasing module
· Recommends purchasing policy and determines procedures within the limits of delegated authority and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

* Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments. Minimum 3 years' experience.

* Proficiency in systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
