Our facility has 277 beds designed to accommodate high acuity needs and features a fully equipped Emergency Department in Bella Vista.We invite you to experience the dedication and excellence that define patient care at Norwest Private Hospital, where innovation meets compassion in a supportive environment for all.The RoleWe are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Norwest Private Hospital.The ICU is an innovative, high-functioning unit with 19 beds, specializing in cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, orthopaedic, and general surgery. The team plays a vital role in interventional and non-interventional cardiology, providing care for acutely unwell patients from the Emergency Department, and supporting deteriorating patients and the Medical Emergency Team (MET). The ICU also provides significant clinical leadership across the hospital.The Nurse Educator will:Deliver and organize education for ICU staff and new recruitsParticipate in hospital-wide clinical governance committeesReview policies at local and corporate levels, incorporating best practices and delivering effective educationDemonstrate strong mentoring and leadership skillsNetwork within the Healthscope Critical Care Cluster and beyond to share innovation and promote nursing excellenceCoordinate the ‘Transition to Critical Care’ program for nurses with minimal ICU experienceSupport and guide the Clinical Nurse Educator in ICULead key quality improvement initiativesThe Nurse Educator will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Senior Nurse Educator.Minimum RequirementsRegistered Nurse with current AHPRA registrationCertificate IV in Training and AssessmentPostgraduate qualification in a related specialty areaPrevious clinical nurse educator experienceExperience with eLearning platformsHigh computer literacy, including Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsMasters of Critical Care Nursing (or working towards)Masters of Education (or working towards)Why Join Healthscope?We care about your career.
