About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced HV technicians with commissioning experience to join our team and assist on major projects. The role involves installation, testing, commissioning, fault‐finding, and maintenance of HV and MV systems across major industrial projects. It is ideal for motivated electricians who take pride in delivering safe, high‐quality work in dynamic project environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of HV & MV electrical systems.
* Testing and commissioning of switchboards, transformers and associated equipment.
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
* Collaborating with project managers, engineers and site teams.
* Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* Preparing commissioning reports and documentation.
About You
* Hold a valid Electrical Licence.
* Hold Energex contestable works qualification.
* Proven experience in HV & MV installation or commissioning.
* Experience with switchgear, substations and protection systems (highly desirable).
* Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic capability.
* High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* White / Blue Card (mandatory).
* HV switching / First Aid / LVR (desirable).
* Proactive, safety‐focused attitude.
* Team oriented with strong communication skills.
