Location: Geelong or Ballarat based
Work Type: Part time (4 days per week)
Term: 2 Years Maximum Term
Salary: $113,900 + super + salary packaging (pro-rata). Salary will increase to $116,770 + super + salary packaging from 1 July 2026.

The Opportunity
This is a great time to join us as a Senior People & Culture Business Partner, where you can play a key role in building and refining how we support our people.
We are looking for someone who brings a strong, systems-focused approach, is hands-on and focused on results - someone who enjoys improving processes and seeing the real impact of their work on employee experience and engagement.
Working closely with senior leaders and reporting to the Senior Manager People & Capability, you will provide expert, practical People & Culture advice across the full employee lifecycle, supporting a high-performing, engaged and compliant workforce.
You will play a critical role in workforce planning, employee relations, recruitment, performance management and organisational change. This is a hands-on role where you will both deliver operational outcomes and contribute to strategic People & Culture initiatives, including system improvements and projects such as HRIS implementation.
This role offers the opportunity to influence organisational culture and leadership capability at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with leaders to provide trusted advice across the employee relations, performance and workforce matters
* Support workforce planning, organisational change and team effectiveness
* Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
* Coach leaders to build capacity in people management and leadership practices
* Provide advice on employment legislation, enterprise agreement and compliance requirements
* Contribute to People & Culture initiatives including engagement, diversity and wellbeing and organisational change
* Support HR systems, reporting and continuous improvement projects including HRIS implementation.
About You
You are an experienced HR professional who thrives in a business partnering role and enjoys working closely with leaders to deliver practical, solution-focused outcomes.
You will bring:
* Demonstrated experience in a senior HR Business Partner or advisory role
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks and HR compliance
* Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Experience across HR operations, reporting and HRIS project delivery
* Strong communication skills and sound judgement
Employment requirements
* Be prepared to undergo a National Police Check, prior to appointment
* A current Victorian driver’s licence
* Working rights in Australia (visa, permanent resident, citizen)
