With locations situated at Sydney's iconic Circular Quay, Castle hill, Pyrmont, Bankstown and the beautiful majestic beach of Botany Bay, we pride ourselves on creating a vibrant atmosphere where great food meets outstanding service.
We are seeking experienced, motivated, and passionate Grill Chefs to join our team at our newly renovated Circular Quay restaurant.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steakhouse grilling, a commitment to quality, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook steaks and other grilled items to company standards (temperature, presentation, portion control).
* Maintain consistency and quality across all dishes served.
* Operate and manage the grill section efficiently during service
* Maintain a clean and safe workstation in accordance with food safety and WHS standards.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
* Assist in training junior staff when required.
* Follow all kitchen procedures and recipes accurately.
* Adapt to a rotating, flexible roster including weekends and public holidays.
Requirements
* 2–3 years' experience as a griller in a steakhouse environment.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Strong sense of responsibility, quality, and consistency.
* Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS).
* A 'CAN DO' attitude with willingness to learn and follow procedures.
* Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
* Certificate III and/or IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
* Current Food Handling Certificate
