Industrial Laundry Operations Manager
At a leading industrial laundry facility, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Laundry Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our dry-cleaning and industrial laundry departments.
The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our laundry facility by implementing quality control measures, managing inventory and equipment maintenance, and supervising a team of laundry assistants and dry-cleaning technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the dry-cleaning and industrial laundry departments
* Ensure all garments and linen are processed according to the highest quality and safety standards
* Train and supervise a team of laundry assistants and dry-cleaning technicians
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production, inventory, and equipment maintenance
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
* Liaise with clients to address any concerns or queries regarding their orders
* Assist with the operation and maintenance of industrial laundry equipment
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a commercial laundry or dry-cleaning operation
* Demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve issues
* Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the laundry industry
