At Green Leaves Early Learning, we take pride in placing our teams and children at the heart of everything we do. Responsibilities
* Use mastery of cooking to plan an interesting and exciting menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old
* Prepare a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, working to dietary requirements for babies and children
* Confidently manage the kitchen autonomously, ensuring effective stock rotation, budgeting, and shopping for the kitchen
* Ensure the highest level of food safety and supervision in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
* Mentor and guide a kitchen hand in a professional environment to deliver the highest quality of food and service
* Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Educators to our littlest learners

Qualifications
* At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon commencement)
* Current State relevant Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain)
* National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
* Extraordinary verbal, written and time management skills
* Availability to work from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
