As an APS6 Economist, you'll contribute to economic research and analysis that supports decision-making in a complex and evolving sector. You'll work with large datasets, apply modelling techniques, and help design pilot studies to address market failures and information gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct economic analysis to support pricing and market policy
* Apply statistical and modelling tools to large datasets
* Collaborate across teams and with external experts
* Translate complex data into actionable insights
* Contribute to pilot studies and policy development
About You:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
* Emerging technical skills in data analysis
* Interest in the care economy and human services markets
* Degree in economics, econometrics, or similar
* Experience with R, Python, Stata, or SAS is desirable
