The Supply Planning and Inventory Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply planning and scheduling process across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves managing the full scope of planning activities, including demand forecasting, purchasing, raw material and finished goods allocation, inventory management, and the implementation of a robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

This position oversees the management of national inventories and works to minimize obsolete stock through accurate forecasting and strategic stocking policies. In addition, the successful candidate will be accountable for developing, implementing, and continuously refining a formalised S&OP framework.

* Lead and optimize supply planning processes, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), production planning, scheduling, and yarn ordering.

* Oversee raw material purchasing.

* Drive capacity and production planning.

* Ensure efficient production scheduling.

* Manage inventory levels.

* Optimize supply chain operations.

* Minimize third-party logistics (3PL) storage costs through improved inventory management and planning practices.

* Lead monthly S&OP meetings.

* Support local implementation of global improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and seamless execution.

Requirements:

* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline.

* 7+ years' of progressive experience in supply chain, operations planning, or manufacturing.

* Minimum 5 years proven leadership experience in Australia with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and empowering planning professionals.

* Strategic and hands-on mindset.
">
* Proven expertise in production and materials requirements planning to ensure timely production schedules.

* Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted cross-functional partnerships.
