DFP Recruitment is seeking a
**Mental Health Program Officer **to join our Federal Government team for a three month assignment.
**The position can be located in any major capital city.**
**The Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Division **is the gateway for veterans and their families to access services that will maintain and enhance their quality of life by improving their physical and mental wellbeing. The Mental Health & Wellbeing Services area currently delivers a suite of group programs to support their clients and are delivered through a mixed approach of direct delivery by the Department and in partnership with other health organisations.
**The role requires you to**:
- Assist with desktop assessments of current group programs against an evaluation matrix.
- Assist with the development of a prioritised list of recommended group programs.
- Develop Group Program Management Strategy and Framework.
- Identify and establish processes.
- Assist with the evaluation of current group programs.
**About you**:
- Degree qualified Psychologist, Social Worker (eligible for Mental Health Accreditation), Registered Mental Health Nurse, or Mental Health Occupational Therapist
- Registered with AHPRA or AASW
- Working with Children (Blue Card) or Working with Vulnerable People (Yellow Card)
- An Australian Citizen and willing to undertake a National Police Clearance.
**In return you will receive**:
- An attractive hourly rate of up to $65 per hour + super
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- ** 3 month-contract** for the Strategic Review Project
