About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the facility grounds, including mowing, weeding, pruning, shaping of trees and shrubs, and the removal of green waste. The position also provides support to other site trades in the general maintenance of the facility as required.
What We're Looking For
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Experienced in routine maintenance and general handyman tasks
Able to handle minor repairs and grounds work
Training, Support & Benefits
You'll start with a comprehensive orientation to the facility, followed by extensive training on gardening practices and plant equipment. We also provide a full health and safety induction to support staff wellbeing. And throughout your time here, you'll have ongoing support from the Grounds and Maintenance team.

This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.

Candidate Profile
Demonstrated competency at planting, pruning, shaping of trees and shrubs with experience in planning and maintenance of gardens and lawns.
Demonstrated knowledge of pest and weed control.
Ability to safely use mechanical gardening equipment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently without direct supervision and within a team environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a sound understanding of high standards of customer service.
