**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver comprehensive and engaging training programs in civil construction, including theoretical and practical instruction.
- Design curriculum and course materials that align with industry standards and requirements.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to enhance students' understanding of construction techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Assess student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and course evaluations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure course content remains relevant and current.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to continuously improve the course curriculum and delivery methods.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and promotes teamwork.
- Mentor and support students, providing career guidance and assisting with job placement opportunities
**Requirements**:
- Must hold Demolition Supervisor Qualifications
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- CPC30420 - CERTIFICATE III IN DEMOLITION as well
- Extensive experience in the field of demolition, with comprehensive knowledge of demolition practices, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in demolition or a related field.
- Previous experience in training and assessment, preferably in a vocational or technical education setting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying skill levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using instructional technology and software for course delivery and assessments.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
