Your new role
As an APS4 Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to senior executives. This is a fast‑paced and varied role where your organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will be essential.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing day-to-day executive support, including diary and inbox management
* Coordinating meetings, papers and briefing materials
* Managing correspondence, approvals and documentation
* Liaising professionally with internal and external stakeholders
* Supporting the executive with travel, logistics and reporting requirements
* Contributing to a positive and efficient team environment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be required to have previous experience in executive support from within a Federal Government Agency and will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and coordination skills.
You will also possess the following:
* Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of an Executive Assistant providing administrative support to a Senior Executive.
* Well-developed organisational and time management skills, including diary management, travel, and research skills
* Ability to exercise sound judgement and show a high degree of initiative, integrity, professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive business matters.
* High attention to detail and the ability to remain flexible and respond to changes as required.
* Understanding and application of the APS Values and Code of Conduct.
You must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this role and have the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance or higher.
