 
        
        Deliver consistent process operation and optimization through the development, improvement, and maintenance of advanced process control applications as a Process Control Specialist at a leading LNG plant.
Main Responsibilities
 * Work with control system and instrument engineers to plan and implement control modifications, troubleshoot logic problems, and identify field device issues.
 * Monitor plant operations and propose improvements to control strategy or operation strategy to enhance efficiency and production.
 * Maintain and develop Advanced Process Control applications using Aspen DMC3 software.
 * Manage changes safely through the appropriate MOC (Management of Change) and Automation Change Request processes.
 * Provide engineering guidance to the operations team on plant operation, including communicating changes and writing process control guidelines.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
 * Demonstrated relevant process engineering or controls engineering experience working in an operating/design facility and/or chemical plant/refinery.
 * Experience with Advanced Process Control, DMC3 preferred, or other relevant APC packages.
 * Familiarity with Yokogawa Centum VP or other control systems, plus demonstrated skills with coding, data analytics, and IT automation.
 * Bachelor's degree in engineering - chemical/process, instrument & controls, or relevant engineering discipline.
 * Experience participating in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), SOA (Safety and Operability Analysis)/LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis).
